Dr. Stephen Lembo is a leading expert in non-surgical spinal care, with over 30,000 spinal decompression treatments performed. A certified specialist in Chronic Intractable Pain through the American College of Physical Medicine and a proud member of the International Disc Education Association, Dr. Lembo is at the forefront of cutting-edge treatments for spinal disc conditions.

Since graduating with honors from New York Chiropractic College in 1999, Dr. Lembo has dedicated his career to helping patients find relief from back, joint, and nerve pain using the latest advancements in spinal decompression, laser therapy, and Soft wave Therapy. His passion for healing began at age 16 when he witnessed his father suffer from debilitating back pain – an experience that shaped his mission to provide life-changing, non-surgical solutions.

Dr. Lembo was an early adopter of Spinal Decompression Therapy and Class 4 High-Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT), pioneering these treatments on Long Island to help patients avoid surgery and regain their quality of life. His expertise has led thousands of individuals to long-term pain relief, improved mobility, and restored function.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lembo enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to the beach, as well as staying active with volleyball and racquetball.

Dr Stephen is the nicest person I have met. He truly represents personal patient care. He has spent significant time explaining our problems and planned a treatment accordingly. I came to DR Stephen with 3 bulging discs involving unbearable back pain. I was unable to do my regular chores and had discomfort sitting and lying down, walking and standing would cause leg pain. After me starting the treatment with Dr Stephen in only 6 visits I am able to go back to the gym, walking freely sit and do my work. I am so lucky to find Dr Stephen Lembo and I wish him all the success. Please call Dr Stephen if you have been suffering with Back or neck pain, he will get u up and fine in no time. Dr. Lembo is excellent! I came in with a bulging disc causing lumbar pain and sciatica down my left leg and around my 10th visit, I’m almost pain free. He took the time to explain my situation clearly and exactly what treatments he would be doing throughout the process. He really knows his stuff and genuinely cares. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Lembo is not your typical doctor, and I mean that in the best way possible. He has a wonderful "bedside" manner, listens to what you tell him about your pain issues and is kind, knowledgeable and patient. It's easy to see that he really cares about your wellbeing. He takes the time to explain the various machines he uses and also how they help heal you. I began seeing Dr. Lembo for severe sciatica caused by a bulging disc at L5/L4 in late April and am still undergoing decompression and laser treatments but I am definitely feeling a big difference. I no longer need a cane to walk and my pain levels are much, much lower. If you want/need a surgery free option to regaining spinal health look no further.

Dr. Lembo does an excellent job of explaining the procedures and their purpose. The non-surgical procedures are just that and completely different than any other chiropractic service I have tried. The main device is comfortable and allows for a gradual painless adjustment rather than an abrupt jolt as in most other manual procedures.
I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Relief Source Chiropractic, PC.

Prior to finding Dr. Steve Lembo and Relief Source, I was suffering with several years of chronic low back pain. Over the years I tried physical therapy and chiropractic but the problem did not improve. Dr. Lembo’s program combining non-surgical spinal decompression with Soft Wave therapy and warm laser has really made a difference. The pain is gone and I’m back to doing everything without limits. I highly recommend Dr. Lembo for anyone suffering with back pain, as I have for many years now. Over the years my pain got progressively worse to the point I could no longer do many of the things I enjoy doing.
Using a combination of the DRX9000 decompression machine and soft wave therapy Dr. Lembo made a real difference in my recovery and I find I have less pain and a greater tolerance for activities I enjoy.
Dr. Lembo is different than other chiropractors I've seen who prescribed a lifetime of never ending visits. Instead, he reviewed my recent MRI report and designed a 12-week program of treatment that was designed for my specific condition and led to noticeable results. At the conclusion he never tried to pressure me into unnecessary additional visits and not only was his treatment plan effective but he is also an incredibly kind and genuine person who I would consider a friend now.
If you're in pain, even if you've tried injections and other treatments that failed to help, you definitely need to give Dr. Lembo a visit.

Dr Lembo, is terrific and the office is non traditional. No desk no waiting just one on one with the doctor. Definitely not what you think of when you think of other chiropractic offices
Had researched decompression because I wanted to be proactive with my back so I’m not in pain as I get older
I’m 64 and an avid golfer, the treatments are great, I find it relaxing and recommend it highly
